Luminous Layers Inspiration!

LinkHello and happy Wednesday! We've been so busy over here at Simon Says Stamp with our deals and sending out all your exciting packages, it's hard to believe the week is 1/2 way over!

I'm very excited to announce a blog candy winner today before I show you a GORGEOUS card inspired by an equally gorgeous dress!

Recently, we saw this project on the wonderful Cheiron Brandon's blog and we just had to share it with you! To see her post on this project, just click here but I'll try my best to capture the talent and inspiration Cheiron shared today in our post!

I love this dress and all of it's yummy layers! You could draw out so many ideas from just the individual layers, let alone the whole garment! But Cheiron took on the Challenge of Luminous Layers over at the Moxie Fab World Blog and ended up making this amazing card!

You can see through the layering of the circles and the flower's extra punch of color what Cheiron was going for!

    For me, inspiration comes from lots of different places, but it's amazing how a great stamp set spurs on the imagination. Kudos to all the great designers out there who put the sets together to allow for so many different possibilities

    You know I don't really know. I know I see tons of things blogging and looking at other folks creations. I can be just sitting, relaxing, and an idea pops in my head. Usually I just sit down at my craft desk, have an image that is colored, and I just start looking around the stamp room and supplies and an idea comes to my head, and I just start and as I'm working on my card, ideas just start coming, so I'm sure it's from a little bit of everything :O)

    I am already a follower, and FB friend. To get my inpiration on, I favorite alot of blogs, Jennifer McGuire's website, watch alot of YouTube, and product video. I love to see what others create then try to change it around for my own creations. Would love to win this stamp set. I am taking a class with JM right now and that big fat flower is calling my name.

    There are so many diff places I get my inspiration. From- landscapes including nature to city skylines, to personal blogs and artists. There is alot locked up inside me it is putting it down on paper is where I need to expore w/my ideas more.

    Sometimes inspiration is there and sometimes it is nowhere to be found, so then I just visit some blogs and I gaze at all these lovely things that people make. I like many different styles and I love challenges that demand certain things instead of "anything goes".xxx Marianne MW

    I draw my inspiration from a lot of various places - magazines, challenge blogs, Moxie Fab World, Fabric designs, and just any other places. Its just a matter of clicking :)

    It's easier to say what I don't draw inspiration from. mostly it is something in nature - at the moment the sea is occupying my thoughts - hopefully it will turn into something arty! Love the layered work in today's blog.

    I always like to have a person in mind when I make a card. Then I think of what colors or things the person might like.
    Otherwise, my stamps themselves and the work of other stampers inspire me a lot.

    I actually gets my inspiration everywhere around me. It can be a view, a smell a person I meet, or anything I just happens to fell over on my way around, and I actually mean absolutely everything, so it´s not one thing in particular but all around me every day, that can sudenly put my brain to work on an idea.

    Inspiration for me comes from many places. It may be a stamp image I see and just have to use. A colour palette that makes me itch to use it. Looking at the inspirational work of others also has a never ending inspiration for me.

    My inspiration comes from everywhere, fashion, magazines, billboards etc. Not to mention the inspiration that motivates me to scrapbook in the first place...my family. I love looking at other people's creations too!

    Your precious moments deserved to be perceived more beautiful, when recalled again. Quality digital imaging is what that accelerates this feel, and the stuffs that Fuji has in place are all studded with these all.     For me inspiration can come from watching a tutuorial, or seeing a beautifl card. Or sometimes it's just a kick in the butt, when a client asks for a specific card. The ulimate inspiration is t!m holtz.

    For me inspiration comes from a lot of things: nature, what I see someone wear, a store display, just playing around with colours:) Also, if I'm asked to make a card for someone, I'll ask if there's something specific the recipient likes, and form an idea around that :)

    Inspiration came to me from nature, museum exibition, theater perfomance and evry day ordinary things, like beautiful cap, enlvelope or even a frame for a post...
