Recently, we saw this project on the wonderful Cheiron Brandon's blog and we just had to share it with you! To see her post on this project, just click here but I'll try my best to capture the talent and inspiration Cheiron shared today in our post!
I love this dress and all of it's yummy layers! You could draw out so many ideas from just the individual layers, let alone the whole garment! But Cheiron took on the Challenge of Luminous Layers over at the Moxie Fab World Blog and ended up making this amazing card!
You can see through the layering of the circles and the flower's extra punch of color what Cheiron was going for!

For me, inspiration comes from lots of different places, but it's amazing how a great stamp set spurs on the imagination. Kudos to all the great designers out there who put the sets together to allow for so many different possibilities

ReplyDeleteYou know I don't really know. I know I see tons of things blogging and looking at other folks creations. I can be just sitting, relaxing, and an idea pops in my head. Usually I just sit down at my craft desk, have an image that is colored, and I just start looking around the stamp room and supplies and an idea comes to my head, and I just start and as I'm working on my card, ideas just start coming, so I'm sure it's from a little bit of everything :O)

I love to see what others create then try to change it around for my own creations. Would love to win this stamp set. I am taking a class with JM right now and that big fat flower is calling my name.

There are so many diff places I get my inspiration. From- landscapes including nature to city skylines, to personal blogs and artists. There is alot locked up inside me it is putting it down on paper is where I need to expore w/my ideas more.

As for me I draw inspiration from some great bloggers and I've got my fav tea shop - the design and aromas are so fantastic it gets me LOTS of inspiration!

I actually gets my inspiration everywhere around me. It can be a view, a smell a person I meet, or anything I just happens to fell over on my way around, and I actually mean absolutely everything, so it´s not one thing in particular but all around me every day, that can sudenly put my brain to work on an idea.

For me, inspiration comes from classes and online videos as well as stamping blogs. Right now, I am enrolled in Jennifer's Inspiration Showcase class and am getting lots of ideas using new and old techniques.

My inspiration comes from everywhere, fashion, magazines, billboards etc. Not to mention the inspiration that motivates me to scrapbook in the first place...my family. I love looking at other people's creations too!

ReplyDeleteFor me inspiration comes from a lot of things: nature, what I see someone wear, a store display, just playing around with colours:) Also, if I'm asked to make a card for someone, I'll ask if there's something specific the recipient likes, and form an idea around that :)
