I am so excited! It's that time again! The reveal of our May Card Kit of the Month is HERE! Complete with our very own larger 5.75x4" You Can Do Anything" Clear Stamp set designed by Kristina Werner...this month's card kit has to be my very most favorite. OH! Can I say that? It's like choosing a favorite child!(For those of you interested in just the stamp set - it will go on sale separately after the card kits have all shipped.) Due to the popularity of last month's stamp set "Sunnier Days" we continued on the path of designing our very own stamps. Sunnier Days can be purchased separately HERE.
As soon as I saw the NEW Basic Grey Collection "What's Up!" at CHA, I just knew we had to do something extra special with it. I think you'll find the die cuts and transparencies a huge bonus for any of your cards!The vivid colors and hot air balloon pattern in the papers are really eye catching! The felt cloud stickers, delicious buttons, smart ribbon and seriously....how many of you are having a BLAST with Washi tape? During my Spring Break vacation last month, I spent hours and hours making fun, whimsical borders and designs using washi tape. It's so fun and easy to use!

What a great kit! I just love all the clouds and Kristina's got ANOTHER great stamp set here! My favorite cards to make are probably Christmas cards, it's just so much a part of the season, helps me to get in a festive mood, but for non-seasonal just thinking of you cards are my favorite.

ReplyDeleteMay I add that Kristina Werner is one of my faves, too? She's always on my go-to list and I refer to her videos often. I don't really have a favorite kind of card to make. If I'm working on Christmas cards, those are my favorite. If I get in the mood or am low on a specific kind of card, those are my favorite. I do enjoy making some generic cards that can be used for whatever I want if I leave a space for a sentiment outside or inside. Thinking of You cards are always useful. I have the most trouble with sympathy cards.

ReplyDeleteThis kit is amazing, I love the colours and the stamps! :) Wow, its really hard to choose what type of cards I like to make. I'd have to say right now its birthday cards because its fun trying to make a card to suit the person I'm going to give it to. Although, I really like note cards because there is no limit to what I can make, and time is not an issue. Its more fun to give birthday cards though so I'd have to say the birthday cards win! Phew, that took way longer to decide than I thought it would, lol.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite type of card is a just because card, no special reason for the card, sending the card "just because". Pretty much no theme, just flying by the seat of my pants, using whatever colors strike me at the time and using whatever design I choose.
