Perfect Pearls Resist

Hi all! Kristina here with another card. :)

I love the look of Perfect Pearls, and one of my favorite ways to use Perfect Pearls is to paint it over embossing powder because it's resisted. It creates an awesome look!

Plus, it's virtually impossible to mess up and paint outside the lines because the embossing powder "pushes" all the Perfect Pearls back within the lines. My kind of painting! LOL! You can see it best on the butterfly at the top of the card.

Anyhow, enjoy!

  6. Wow, Kristina...this is just stunning. I love the way the butterflies pop against that black cardstock...and the dry embossed edge on the cardstock is especially lovely.

  7. The Perfect Pearls makes stunning butterflies! I do have a question though - why did you begin by rubbing the powder tool on the black paper?

Those butterflies are gorgeous. Especially the one where color was blended. I need to get my Perfect Pearls out and try that.

I've only recently begun using Perfect Pearls. I had no idea you could mix them with water, so thank you soooo much for sharing this technique.
