Spooky Card

Hello, all! Kristina here with another card and video for you guys. :)

Today's card came about because I wanted to challenge myself to use the Allegro Corner die in an unexpected way. I thought it would look awesome if I created a "burst" coming out from behind another shape, so I cut the corner die four times. I then adhered it in a burst shape and put one of the Apothecary Label die shapes on top. In this case, I cut it out using American Crafts Pow Glitter Paper. :)

To top off the Halloween look, I stamped the witch from Hero Arts' You Scare Me stamp set, adhered some striped paper from American Crafts Pumpkin Patch 6x6 pad, and blinged it up with Hero Arts gems and pearls.

Be sure to watch the video below to see how I cut the Apothecary label die so that it was longer than the original die. It's a great way to stretch the use of your dies! :)

  4. I almost passed up watching this video since I don't send Halloween cards, but I know I always learn something when I do watch, so I gave in. ;-) I'm glad I watched. The Allegro corner die is really pretty and the card really is cute. Thanks, Kristina, for another well-done video and great card.
