Nellie Snellen Snowman Scene Embossing Folder

Hi, all! Kristina here with another card and video. :)

Today I used the Snowman Scene embossing folder from Nellie Snellen. I embossed some dark navy cardstock so that I could create a "night" scene. Applying Picket Fence Distress Stain to the embossed area allowed the debossed scene to stand out, and it also allowed a great surface for colored pencils.

To see how I achieved this look, be sure to watch the video below. :)

Enjoy!

  4. Some great tips and technique ideas in this one. I'm glad you kept that blue snowflake and explained about it, that could be an interesting way to get a bit of a color into the Stickles. Very cute card. Thanks!

  14. Thanks for the reminder that you don't always have to use the whole stamped image on your card. Sometimes just part of it makes a statement.
