Today we have a special video from Jennifer McGuire to give us some education on the New Fiskars Procision Trimmer.
Here are some key features of this awesome new trimmer:
- Ideal for making straight, precise cuts through multiple sheets of cardstock, chipboard and grunge board, plus more traditional crafting materials like paper and vellum
- Dual-rail system eliminates blade wiggle for straight, precise cuts
- Spring-action rotary bypass blade stays sharp so it never needs to be replaced
- Built-in smudge guard keeps your crafting materials fingerprint-free while you cut
- Grid line measurements on the top and bottom provide versatile use
- Long-lasting work surface provides accurate measurements every time
- Rubberized feet offer excellent stability
- Folding design provides space-saving storage and transport
- Lifetime warranty
It's true, every crafter needs a good paper trimmer. In addition to introducing this new heavy duty trimmer, Jennifer also features a couple other Fiskars trimmers, so hopefully this video will help you decide which one best fits your needs!

Thanks for the video. I LOVE that first one but probably couldnt invest that much for it. But that second one looks perfect. I have a cricut one, but have had issues with it not making accurate cuts. I think its time to trade up.
ReplyDeleteReally great toturial of two fab fiskars products. I have the last one myself but with both inches and centimeters. Now I know what to wish for my birthday - that first one looks awsome.

Great trimmer, may need one of those
ReplyDeleteI actually did some testing on the first trimmer - I was given the heavy paper to cut - it even cut chipboard without any problems so cardstock and pattern paper would be wonderful - I have a paper trimmer graveyard - still searching for the perfect one for the big pieces of papers - may break down and buy this one.
ReplyDeleteI have added the little one - saw Jennifer use it in the online classes - it is wonderful

I got the second Fiskars trimmer for Christmas! It's been terrific. The new Pro one looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, a paper crafter needs a trimmer, don't know how I would manage without mine...
ReplyDeleteThese looks like they´re great trimmers for our use here. I had a Fiskarxs trimmer many years ago, but then it broke and I couldn´t get any spareparts for it, which upsetr me a bit at the price they charge for them, but hopefully that´s been better now a days.
ReplyDeleteLove the vid review on these trimmers... I am in the market for one and just can't decide! lol Kathi
ReplyDeleteAwesome! This is so on my wish list....
ReplyDeleteI think I must get that trimmer.....I need a new one and this looks Fabulous!!! Thanks for the demo....
ReplyDeleteI need a new trimmer and this one looks like a good one.
ReplyDeleteThat trimmer looks awesome! I need something that cuts straight, because I have trouble with my purple cow trimmer - sometimes get a wobbly cut.

ReplyDeleteI need to get this trimmer, I use a Carl one but it does cut wonky and some of the measurements have rubbed off !
ReplyDeleteWill this need replacement cutting mats, it mentions the blade but not the mats ?
luv
Lols x x x
Looks really well made. My current trimmer does't cut quite straight, which is so irritating.

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the info! A good trimmer is always good to have!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Thanks for the video and review =)
ReplyDeleteThis new trimmer looks fabulous. I have two older Fiskars trimmers but will definitely consider this one as a replacement! They still work great but this has some newer features that I would like!
ReplyDeleteI think a good trimmer is the best purchase a card maker can make. I always advise people to buy the best trimmer they can afford.
ReplyDeleteI bought this Fiskars trimmer just because of Jennifer's recommendation on her blog awhile back. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great new trimmer - it's on my wish list! For now, I'm using the 2nd Fiskar trimmer Jennifer showcased. ;-)

ReplyDeleteLove my fiskara trimmer, this would definitely be a step up. Great video!
ReplyDeleteNothing ruins a project like a bad cut. Thanks for the review!!
ReplyDeleteI have gotten some pretty awful cuts on my projects and had a time getting things straight. Jennifer is right on!
ReplyDeletelooks like a great trimmer
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the new trimmer - I have an older Fiskers one, and love the quality
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great video, I really need a new trimmer and this helps a lot :)
ReplyDeleteWOW, this cutter is on my mental wish list. My biggest complaint is not being able to cut a straight line. A quilter along with loving paper crafting, I frequently rely on my quilting rulers and rotary cutters to get straight cuts.
ReplyDeleteI am in the market for a trimmer that makes accurate cuts. They are very hard to find. The big bonus is that you never have to replace the blade. I shall put this on my wishlist. Thanks for the video!
ReplyDeleteI've tried lots of different trimmers, but the Fiskars brand is the only one I use now. I even bought two last time they were on special at Spotlight so that I had a spare for classes etc.
ReplyDeleteThat trimmer looks awesome....I am going to have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showcasing the trimmer! I'm still on the look out for my favourite - this might be it:)
ReplyDeletei have the seconda one and i do have problems with the wire but anyway it is an awesome trimmer
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer for telling us about these trimmers.

Looks like this is the trimmer I would like to have in my craftroom! Have to find out if it's availeble in one of the shops here... Greetings, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteI wish they would have put the wire guide on the new big mama ;) I'm gonna wait and see if they come out with that next, cuz I love the wire on my Sure Cut trimmer.
ReplyDeleteOooh the trimmer looks fab ... bit big for my tiny craft space though :(
ReplyDeleteThese trimmers look very impressive, especially the big one.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this trimmer! Love Jennifer's videos, they are so informative.
ReplyDeletethanks for the good advice on the trimmer today...
ReplyDeleteLoved jennifer's video and helpful hints!
ReplyDeleteThis trimmer sounds amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteThat trimmer looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI bought a Fiskars trimmer with Jennifer's Christmas lists of favorites in Dec. She helps so many of us out!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this video. I saw that they came out with this new trimmer and it is quite pricey, but now I can see why it is a little more pricey than some of the others and it looks like a wonderful one.
ReplyDeleteIf Jennifer uses it---I'd use it too!
ReplyDeleteLove Fiskars products - this trimmer looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and informative. If I ever need a new trimmer, I'm looking closely at the ProCision one!
ReplyDeleteI would love one of these beauties!!!

Fiskars has always had the best trimmers & this one looks like they really kicked it up a notch!
ReplyDeleteI saw Jennifer's video when she posted it last month and was instantly enamored with the Procision. It seems to have everything: accuracy, stability, safety, multi-purposes. It will take a while to save up for it, but she sold me on it. I have both a craft room and garage full of Fiskars products. You can't go wrong with them. Their customer service is top notch, as Jennifer mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI caught this video on Jennifer's blog, but it's worth a 2nd look! This looks like a remarkable cutter! WTG Fiskars!
ReplyDeleteI love when Jennifer shows us utensils she uses. This is definitely a granddaddy for all cutters.
ReplyDeleteI use the smaller Fiskars trimmers but I think I might get the new procision one - I love the idea of being able to cut multiple papers and not having to replace the blade!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Fiskars products, especially the Finger Tip knife!
ReplyDeleteI love Friskars products. I use one of their cutters now but this would be a great upgrade for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks
what a fun tutorial! love it
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I have recently discovered your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat comparison! Love some of the features of this cutter!
ReplyDeleteDeniseB
Thanks for the videos. My next cutter will be the Fiskars premium 12"!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome!! I do need a new trimmer, and the first one ...wow!! (just don't like the price tag!!) but they are both very cool! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like that you don't have to replace the blade.
ReplyDeleteI can personally vouch for Fiskar's customer service. I called them about a problem I was having with the wire in my cutter just the other day, and they're sending me a replacement ruler-- no questions asked!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the look out for a new paper trimmer myself. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on these two trimmers!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous trimmer....I like that it is so heavy duty!
ReplyDeleteLove my Fiskars. Wish I had this one.
ReplyDeleteI have tried so many timmers and by far Fiskars is the only one I really like! I have the more personal trimmer with the wire guide and it just makes life so much easier.
ReplyDeleteI am really debating about getting this one...I already have the Genesis trimmer but I don't tend to use it and I don't like that I can not cut more than one piece of cardstock at a time. But I am not sure if I would like this one any better...still debating as I would for sure sell my Genesis...
ReplyDeleteI already own the second one with the wire guide. I love it!
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks like a really great trimmer - the Pro. I have never had really good luck with blades - they seem to go dull so quickly. I have had an issue with the cording on the Fiskars as my first one broke and I did not know that you could get it replaced and I ended up throwing it out. So that was disappointing to know that I could have gotten a replacement. I love that the Pro's blade is not supposed to wear out - but I am a little leary of the price.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the useful review, Jennifer! I have two local brand trimmer but it never been useful. I been looking for one really nice trimmer and been eyeing on Fiskar's. Thus, this video really helps!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful paper cutter. I like that the blade does not need replacing! What a treat it would be to have a large paper cutter.
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance to win. I own the Sure Cut.
ReplyDeleteLove this video review. So much good information, and so helpful! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! Always good to see the expensive tools in action, the trimmer looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteVery nice comparison you made on Fiskars trimmer. It's very helpful. I should get the titanium blade replacement for my trimmer.
ReplyDeleteI have a Fiskars trimmer but not this one. Lots of benefits. I may have to trade up. Thanks for the great video.
ReplyDeleteI saw this at the Scrapbook Expo Best of the CHA class. I need this trimmer. I have a Fiskars trimmer already, and love it, but this one is better.
ReplyDeleteI'm on my second Fiskars trimmer. Wouldn't use any other brand. This looks super. Nicola x
ReplyDeleteThis trimmer looks amazing. I have a Fiskars and love it as well as the great customer service they provide. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis trimmer looks amazing. I have a Fiskars and love it as well as the great customer service they provide. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI still use my first Fiskars trimmer that I bought back in 2002! My only complaint is wiggle room in blade holder. I've learned to hold it down a certain way to get straight cuts. When I upgrade I will definitely consider this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video! Need to check these out!
ReplyDeletegreat tutorial. i just saw that trimmer and was wondering about it. it is a trial and error isn't it to get the trimmer that works properly?
ReplyDeleteI have the small Fiskars, I love the now one though, never have to replace the blade? How cool is that? Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteAwesome tutorial.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
