A Gorgeous Intro To Textural Accents!

Hello everyone!
Let's begin on a very fun note with the blog candy winners from Friday's Favorite Five with Lawn Fawn's Kelly Alvarez! The winner of the Turkey Day Set is Yainea and the winner of the Making Frosty Friends set is Brenda! Congrats ladies!

I hope October is treating you all wonderfully so far! October is definitely one of my favorite months- all the beautiful colors of fall start showing up here & it's perfect sweatshirt season! Plus, the addition of pumpkin spice to coffees, cookies, doughnuts, and breads doesn't hurt either ;)

LinkNot only is this card fun and seasonal, it comes along with a great video on Faber-Castell products like the Textural Accents and the Stampers Big Brush Pens! Plus, it highlights the cute Lawn Fawn clear stamps like the Happy Haunting set!

Tiffany Johnson does a great job with step by step directions in her post and video, explaining important details about the products, and sharing insider tips! Plus, her sound effects are awesome too!

Here's her supplies list:
Faber-Castell Textural Accent Sampler
Faber-Castell Stamper's Big Brush Pens in Orange Glaze, Violet, May Green, Cool Grey III
Faber-Castell Essential Tool Kit
Neenah Cardstock
Lawn Fawn Happy Hauntings Clear Stamp Set

  11. What a cute card. Thanks for the awesome video.

I've only used the Aquarelles so far and I liked that you can use them as regular color pencils or as watercolor pencils. The big brush and pitt artist markers have been on my wish list so hopefully someday soon.

  14. Love the video - so informative! Thanks. I attended a class where we altered a chinese take-out box into a collaged gift box. We used Faber Castell gelatos(LOVE!)and gel medium to stick down the colered collage papers. I love the way it turned out! Love faber Castell products!

  15. Wonderful card! I'm only new to cardmaking and to be honest the only Faber Castell products I have used are coloured pencils. When I fist started out they are what I used to colour my images. I have since moved onto to Copics ... but do often use pencils for that lovely soft look.

Lawn Fawn on the other hand, just have the cutests stamps around and I am beginning to enjoy playing with them!
