Fab-u-lous Memorabilia Pockets by Simple Stories!

Here is a very cheery and fun idea for how to use Simple Stories Memorabilia Pockets by designer, Melissa Phillips from the Simple Stories Design Team!
One of the reasons I love this idea is that you can stash a gift in the pockets!  Everyone loves a gift card or some cash!  Great for graduation, birthdays, anniversaries, new babies and more!

Even though I'm a little older now, I look back to when I was younger and loved interactive books...you know, the ones with the tabs to pull and the pop-up pieces?  I think that's one of the reasons I find Memorabilia Pockets so intriguing - they're interactive!
If you want a name tag stamp similar to the one here, try Your Acquaintance by Inkadinkado!

"Write on" with Uncommon Petite Type Stickers by Authentique! And tie it up with Crinkle or Lavish Ribbon and Lace!  I love the dyed ribbon too!  For this effect, try Summer and Spring Seasonal Reinkers by Tim Holtz!

The bright buttons are a fun touch too!  Some of my favorite bright buttons include: Plumeria, Vintage Sew-On Pink, Vintage Whimsy, Marmalade Heirloom, Be Happy, and Vicki B.  They all have such character.

Gemstone sparkle is great too...and vellum...and tags!

Although the Memorabilia Pockets are neutral in color, there is SO much you can do to make them key pieces on your spiffy cards!

  37. This is one of those "why didn't I think of that?" posts. I may even have enough bits and bobs in my stash to get a good start on these. What a great way to use up scraps of papers, leftover stickers, the odd buttons and pieces of ribbon I refuse to get rid of. I'm with you -- I love interactive cards and these memorabilia pockets are just perfect.
