Summer School with Nichol Magouirk!

Welcome to Day 3 of Simon Says Stamp Summer School!

This morning we welcome Nichol Magouirk to Summer School!
Nichol has created an amazing card using a variety of Simon Says Stamp exclusive stamp sets along with some Hero Arts and Avery Elle stamps.

I Simply Cannot Imagine My Life Without You

A little from Nichol about her card:

Happy Summer, Simon Says Stamp friends! I love the look of decorating by adding cute decor pieces inside a vase or a jar so I am, of course, delighted that there are several adorable jar stamps available to create my own "embellished jars" for cards and other paper crafted projects! While searching through my stamp collection I knew I wanted to create a summer-themed card with the boat from the Avery Elle Knotty Stamp Set and what better way to showcase this cute sailboat then to add it inside this Hero Arts stamped jar! I tilted the jar on it's side for this card, stamped the waves and masked off the longest wave before stamping the boat then I colored in the whole jar with Copics before die cutting and adding it to my card. With so much going on inside the jar I kept the stamping and embellishing on the card base to a minimum to make the jar really shine. I have to mention that I adore the newest Simon Says Stamp Inside & Out Sayings stamp set. It makes it so easy to not only add a fun greeting to the outside of your card but to make the inside of your cards shine as well!

To see Nichol create her card from start to finish, you can watch the video below:
