Our Lucky Blog Follower!

I'm ready for spring too! Our hometown Groundhog in Ohio (Buckeye Chuck) did not see his shadow today so if his predictions are correct that means...EARLY SPRING! This is a silly tradition I know, but I'll take what I can get!

Simon Says Stamp Spotlight on Designer Chris Sather


If you follow our blog regularly, you probably know that Chris has been designing for us before we even had a Simon Says Stamp challenge blog! She was my very first blogger friend! Chris is a school teacher by day, but a delightful friend and designer by evening and weekends ;) With a heart of gold, Chris is a leader by nature and teaches at a Catholic School in Canada. She helps with our Papercraft Planet projects and designs every single week for our challenge blog. She has also organized a blog hop for us!
My favorite of her work is something she posted for last week's challenge:

Are you a fan of dogs? Chris has a lovely big guy named Brick. Together with her hubby Tim, Chris is slowly but surely "Cesar Milan" Training Brick to be a good boy. Attention and Exercise! I have great fun chatting with Chris about our own dog dilemmas (Our dog is a Boston Terrier named Simon :) We are so lucky to have great gals on our Simon Design Team! Chris has a personality to match her fun and whimsical cards. Be sure to check out her BLOG for great giveaways and inspiring work. Look at some of her work below:

Have you heard of Magnolia Rubber Stamps? Chris convinced me a little over a year ago to carry them in our http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/ store. As a Magnolia expert, she did an awesome job picking out our first inventory! I have been a huge fan ever since I laid my eyes on Tilda! Now we have over 3,000 Magnolias in stock in our store and over a 1,000 more coming later this month!

Thanks to Chris for being a loyal friend and a committed team member. Hugs to you and Simon sends his puppy love to Brick too:)

Hero Arts = Taste of Spring


As you know the Simon team just got back from a fast and furious week at CHA! It was SO MUCH FUN meeting designers and getting a first hand look at all the new products we'll be offering this year! Above is a very small section of Hero Arts' display.

Just when we've started using our January 2010 Hero Arts goodies they decide to come out with more NEW STAMPS!!! :-) 26 of them to be exact! They never cease to impress me with the attention to detail in etching their stamps. I'm no expert and I seem to stamp perfectly every time I use their products! They make it very easy.

If your focus is on stamps that suit the season, Hero Arts has certainly delivered! Flowers are IN this Spring and Simon Says Stamp will have all of the new Hero Arts products ready for you to explore soon. They are expected to arrive mid-late February...so check back with us shortly! In the meantime, stock up on your paper flowers to add definition and femininity to your upcoming project!
