Hi everyone...Happy EARTH Day! It's a great day to have a little reminder to be a little more friendly to the environment by remembering to reuse, reinvent, and recycle! We have some great products to show your EARTH pride, and a simple and fun project to do.

GREEN PROJECT:

Turn response envelopes into stickers

This craft is the perfect activity for a rainy day or after school playdate. Every time you receive a piece of junk mail, check to see if it has a response envelope. If an envelope is included, tuck it away in a drawer or storage box. That way, you'll have a good supply of envelopes on hand at a moment's notice.

You will need:

Response envelopes

Your favorite stamps

Markers, Colored Pencils, Ink Pads

Directions:

Cut the lick-and-stick strip of each envelope into 2-inch rectangles.

Decorate the non-adhesive side of the rectangle with your favorite stamps!

Place anywhere you would normally put stickers.

Introducing...

Good afternoon!

Today is another lovely day at Simon Says Stamp and I am halfway through my third week!! I think I'm finally starting to get my bearings around the warehouse (knock on wood!) and it's been fun getting to know my fellow coworkers and the products.

So far, I've discovered that I like some of the Hero Arts mounted rubber stamps - particularly the ones with flowers. I have recently graduated from college and the environmental organizations I was involved in have really reinforced my love of nature (as is evident in my favorite stamp selections!).

I really like the look of the DesignBlock Silhouette stamp by Hero Arts. It kind of reminds me of the flowers that Alice runs into in Alice in Wonderland, but I just like the silhouette idea in general.

I'm also crazy about the paper pad made my Basic Grey called Lime Rickey. I think the bird pages are cute and I'm a big fan of the various patterns and colors they use :)

Hello everyone in blogland....

I LOVED all the wonderful comments on what you guys are "Die-ing" to do with your new Tim Holtz Alterations Dies by Sizzix.

Paper flowers, albums, scrapbook embellishments, appliques on clothes, wall hangings, bookmark tags, shrink plastic jewelry and ATCs were some of the projects you had in mind. Some of you were very excited to try the dies on different materials...balsa wood, cork, plastic, fabric, metal, wool, as well as paper! Tim Holtz's Movers & Shapers Have Us On The Edge!

Happy Almost Tax Day! Some of you are trying to do some last minute "alterations" of your tax bill right now, as for the rest of you - it's time for more Tim Holtz Alterations! Yes, this popular release of Sizzix dies are so fabulous - you will be even more inspired today with another one of Tim's videos!

There are many different styles and uses for the Sizzix dies. I shared the Tim Holtz Bigz Dies Video with you on Friday. Now, we are going to learn more about the capabilities and creative inspirations behind the Tim Holtz Movers & Shapers Dies and the Tim Holtz On The Edge Dies.

I was especially interested in the custom possibilities of the Movers & Shapers. I love that you can put the magnetic inserts anywhere within the Movers & Shapers Dies!!! This video really cleared up a lot of confusion for me. I hope it gives you some clarity, and some inspiration! The On The Edge Dies are fabulous for adding character to any edge - card makers, paper crafters, mini book makers, and altered artist alike will love these funky edged dies!
