    Magda x

  2. Ohh nice!! I like to scrapbook pictures of me and my family in a beach or summer day and right now I'm starting to make spring themed cards because I want the winter to be over and see flowers, sunlight, trees :P

  3. WOW! What a fun & creative way to use these stamps! The cards are beautiful! Thanks for the video tutorial!

  4. I actually love winter, I like lots of snow and very cold weather. So I'd have to say this wonderful white season inspires me. =)
    Hugs, SannaS

  5. Ok, that has to be the coolest thing I have seen in a LONG time!!! NEAT!!! I was ENTHRALLED with that video.....going to try that tonight!!!! LOL
I am beating the winter blues by working on my summer camping scrapbooks and just trying to keep busy in the house in my craft room (I painted it & reorganized so that took some time!! LOL ) Waiting VERY impatiently for SPRING!!!!! LOL

    Luv ya girls!!!!

  6. "Let us know how you are using crafting to cope with any winter blues you may have"- I am using all sorts of spring papers and images to tide me over until Spring... it can't come soon enough for me!!

  7. I enjoyed the video and tips! How am I coping....lots of creating (or trying)! I am in MN and it has been a pretty COLD winter, with lots and lots of SNOW.

Thank you for the chance to win.

  8. Great Demo, thank you. I've now started making my Easter and Spring cards in lovely bright colours, and that is helping me keep the frosty days and nights out of mind for a wee while.
    Hugs Suzi x

  9. I am using my crafting space to keep me occupied while stuck in the house. Right now I'm organizing and finding hidden treasures...brightens up my day!

  10. Hi, This is a wonderful new technique ( new to me at least!). Thanks so much for the great video. I just found your website recently and I really love what you do to educate the public. Thanks again.

  11. Hi....this is a cool video! I surely use crafting to cope with winter...and other things going on in my lil life...often the roads are just too bad to travel where I live so I escape to my craft room and forget about it! right now we have many things happening here, but usually even if I have to leave I can take something with me to work on ...even if it is just punching things de-stresses me at appointments...cher

  12. Crafting and winter blues--um, well. I have made all my birthday/anniversary/baby/thank you cards that I need until the end of March. Plus I have just finished an album for my cousin's new baby. It was a lot of fun to create pages for her to put the photos on. It is my VERY FIRST album and I'm quite proud of it. Now to start on one for my cousin the "other side" of the family:) And so--winter blues be GONE! (Plus here in southern BC interior, we've had the least snow in AGES!)

  13. We have snow here in MN so crafting is taking my time from going out into the cold.

  14. Crafting not only helps me drift off to another land away from the snow butwith my son being off school post surgery as he is non weight bearing for another 3 weeks and has been for the last 4 it has more than ever become my sanctury and haven and helps me unwind when we gwt to the staged of needing a time out from each other. Making cards in bright and cheery colours is a sure way to help the blues. Thanks for sharing Julye.

  15. Winter in Fairbanks, Alaska, is long and dark. Crafting takes my mind off what is outside and keeps my focus on the present. Plus, I have something pretty to show for my efforts!

  16. My winter blues are more like non-winter blues here. This is my first winter without snow... it's very strange for me. I get totally jealous when people post snow pictures on their blogs!!!

I've never heat embossed before. Hope I win so I can try it!!!

  17. Hi Katie, thanks so much for the video :) I'm in Australia and we're still experiencing heat waves, so I'm definitely not chasing away the winter blues just yet. But I use crafting to beat the heat... close the windows, crank up the air-con and create, create, create. It's WAY too hot to be outside in the middle of the day.

  18. watched the video, like it very much. TFS
I found myself, creating lots and lots of papers roses lately (and expirimenting (spell) with fabric too.) Whilst creating my mind flows off to the wonderful smell of a rose garden, and that makes me wish it was spring already.

  19. Crafting is definetly cheering me up this Winter-it really has been a long winter with all the snow! The gorgeous bright papers and yummy embellies really lift your spirits I think!

  20. Thanks for posting up the video tutorial. Just loved the embossing paintings! I think just seeing that helped chase away the Winter blues :) Kim

  21. Cool project, thanks for the video (I'm definately a 'visual' learner!)
Card making definately helps me beat the winter blues ... doesn't matter if its raining or snowing outside, it can be summer in my craft room if I choose to use my pretty flowers and bright papers!

  22. As it is summer here, my biggest problem is finding some time for crafting! I must try this technique - looks great

  23. Escaping to my craft room helps take away any kind of blues!

  24. Wow this looks like so much fun! I hole up on my craft room, stick the radio on and ignore the world - the weather can do what it likes as long as the craft supplies don't run out! :D

  25. Wow, I never thought of using embossing powders like this - what a wonderful idea! I have been doing tons of scenic landscape stamping lately - full of trees, flowers and animals. So the winter is definitely over at least in my craft room.

  26. I haven't been doing much crafting lately---been spending all my time at he basketball court with my son.
I could use ome new supplies to get me remotivated!

  27. I can go into my studio and look out at the snow - and then forget it. My mind goes to all the fun things I can create. I have been using spring colors for a coulpe of weeks now in anticiaption of warm days.

  28. I'm making spring and summer coloured cards, I've had enough of winter :). More snow today and so cold waiting for the vet to come and do vaccinations for the horses LOL

  29. wow.. thanks for the awesome tutorial. Just can't wait for spring. Making flower themed cards right now to beat the winter blues.

  30. I am picking very spring-time colors to try and convince myself that spring is almost here!

  31. My craft room is seasonless - I can be in there and it doesn't matter what the weather is like, what the outside temperature is or what storm is brewing, I'm in my own little world... It apparantly has it's own measure of time too - I can spend hours in there and it only feels like a few minutes!! xx

  32. I have been blog jumping trying to learn new techniques for cards and scrappin, etc. waiting to receive my new distress inks..

  33. I don't really have the winter blues, but I find more time to do my card making in the winter when I have to stay indoors. So I get a lot of my projects done. Thanks for a chance to win some great candy.

  34. oo wow!! They look great! I just try and make sunny looking cards :) Keeps me feeling warm! I LOVE when the sun shines through my window too, it really gets me in the mood to do a lovely warm card!

  35. I love Tuscany ... warm, sunnny and fab food!!!
I am starting to make Easter cards for people ... very bright and colourful after this cold winter.
Thanks for the video tutorial ... I must have a play with this!

  36. This is such a great technique! I'm going to have to get some of those sets!!!

My spring cleaning helped get inspiration! I was organizing my stamps and came across one that had never seen ink and thought, "Why haven't I used this?" I had been in a bit of a creative slump and realized I hadn't stamped for the sake of creativity for a long time. So I got up and stamped that cute little Whiff of Joy stamp, colored it and made a card.

I didn't get all my stamps organized but I'm happier now!
