Simon Says It's Button Time!!!

Good Day to You!

Have you played along in a Simon Says Stamp Challenge? There are two:

We have two fabulous design teams who showcase their work weekly. The Simon Says Stamp Challenge has a new theme every Wednesday, while the Vintage Stamp & Show Challenge has a new theme every Monday. Entries are welcomed until the 11:59 the nights before.

The Challenges are fun for the following reasons (and more):

Mandy used an adorable Sizzix Snowman! She also used a Grand Scalloped Circles die like the one by Spellbinders! Do you have a vagabond machine?

Buttoned by Domi!
Domi crafted with Cottage Blossoms by Prima - try them in Orchid! She also used the Large Butterfly stamp by Magnolia.

Buttoned by Heather!
Heather made two cards! She used Sugar Rush paper by Basic Grey and the Willow with Christmas Candy Stamp by Whiff of Joy! On the top card she used Heartbreaker Edwin by Magnolia.

Buttoned by Lols!
Lorraine used the Sew Artsy stamp set by Hero Arts for the sentiment on the bottom card. She used Basic Grey buttons from the Life of the Party, Marjorlaine, and Out of Print Collections.

Buttoned by Christine!
Christine used the 6 x 6 Nordic Holiday paper pad by Basic Grey! She also used the adorable Reindeer Tilda stamp by Magnolia!

Joy used Basic Grey Olivia Buttons! Like the trim? I believe it is Lavish Trimmings by Tim Holtz!

    I LOVE all of the INSPIRATION!!
    My FAVORITE button shapes are the VINTAGE flower and gem buttons!!
    I LOVE looking for them at thrift and antique stores!!

  10. I love the red button berries with the holly leaves (Buttoned by Debby). What a brilliant idea. I will have to borrow this idea for when I make Christmas cards.

  16. Awesome cards. I really love the variety they all provide on different ways to use buttons. My favorite shape are heart buttons that look vintage with only two holes. It is easier to use than a 4 hole button.

  21. Although I really love specialty shaped buttons, I still love the regular round buttons because they are so versatile. I particularly love tiny round buttons. They're just so cute!

  31. i always forget to use buttons on my cards... thanks for the reminder :) I love the traditional 4 hole circle buttons.. with the raised edges. they look so cute with the little stitched cross in the centre. thanks for the chance to win x

  33. Honestly, other shaped buttons are cute - but look at the versatility of a round button - the DT girls rocked these projects - they are outstanding!!! You cannot go past the good old round button!!

  39. I like the clear round buttons that I can color with alcohol inks. I also like my "button" punch so that I can punch faux buttons to match any card.

  43. Classic round buttons are the most versatile (personally, I like 4 hole buttons the most), but it's fun to have specialty/novel buttons too.

  46. I like buttons...the two holes ones are really nice, the tie can be a bow on top or just tucked under the button...but then, I do like the 4 holed button, especially if you make an X with the thread!

  60. Hi, I just loved Joy's button card. So many techniques used with such soft pastel colour background allows the Pink Buttons and Pin to highlight the whole card.
