Just Because You're Amazing

Today I have another card created using supplies from the March 2013 Card Kit.

I just love the colors in this kit! So bright and cheerful and they match the paper straws in the kit, too. When I was brainstorming ideas for the paper straws I thought they would look neat flattened out and stapled. So that's what I did!

Thank You So Much (Simon Says Stamp March 2013 Card Kit)

Hi all! Kristina here. :)

Today I have a card that I created using the March 2013 Card Kit. I started out by stamping the sentiment, flower, and leaves from the Flower Friend stamp set on the bottom of the kraft bag that comes in the kit. Then, I slipped a piece of cardstock inside and then put the bag on the card.

The pop of coral comes from the Lawn Fawn Daphne's Closet 6x6 paper included in the kit.

Super easy and quick, but so so fun to create. :)

March 2013 Card Kit REVEAL!

I had the chance to play with the kit a bit. Here are two cards that I made using the March 2013 Card Kit...

The kit includes a sheet of white woodgrain texture cardstock. To make the texture stand out, I used a bit of Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen (not included in kit) to blend in a bit of color on the edges. I also flattened the pink straw and stapled it to the front of the card. The straw adds a ton of dimension!

The flower stamps in the stamp set can be combined to create clusters of fun flowers. :)
