Screen Printing!

Hi everyone! I have a VERY exciting tutorial to show you today!

Screen printing! This is a shirt that Amy Anderson created, using Mod Podge and just a few other materials! Isn't it awesome?!

Here's a tutorial from Kristy on how to get this crafty, screen print look!
Find an image you link online, and print it out onto sturdy paper..

Then attach your screen to an embroidery hoop..

Trace your image onto the screen using a pencil..

Mod Podge the parts of the image you DON'T want to have painted (the parts you want 0 paint on when the image is on your shirt)

Once that's dried, cover the image with a paint color of your choice..

Remove your screened hoop, and you're all done!

Recreate with these supplies for similar results:

Try out these paints!

I hope you try out this technique, I'm already excited to share it with all my friends!

Prima + Design Memory Craft!

Happy Saturday everyone! Oh, I just love Saturday's! They hold so much promise- especially when our pool is opened up for the summer!

Have you been following our progress in the Social Madness competition?! We're holding strong in the top 5! We'd love to show off how AWESOME you all are, and what passion crafty people can help! Help us vote and bring us to the next level please! (You can vote every day til June 18th!)

Today I have a VERY inspirational and creative project Tiffany Johnson made for the Prima + Design Memory Craft Blog Hop!

I love that sentiment! I always see coffee suggestions, and being a tea-lover myself, I'd love to receive this card! I see the Lawn Fawn Chevron stamp peeking through there too!

Here are some close ups for details on her work!
